
FWCCI – Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched its own Incubation Center (Announced in February 2021) for female lead startups, which will facilitate and guide young female founders to start their own businesses instead of seeking for jobs. Seasoned female entrepreneurs and business women has come out as FWCCI platform to collaborate with all other stake holders, including academia to provide best possible facilities to young founders to start their own businesses.
Mian Muhammad Idrees, CEO Sitara Chemical Industries has donated generously for the FWCCI, to strengthen the diversity and empower the Women of Faisalabad. FWCCI Business Incubation Center is 1st of is kind in country, a female only incubation center founded by a Women Chamber of Commerce.
FWCCI also signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Government College Women University Faisalabad, for collaboration between both organizations to make the Incubation Center more successful. Dr. Rizwana from GCWU and Ms. Haniah Javed from FWCCI has been appointed focal persons by their respective organizations.
Earlier FWCCI shared via a press release, “The Punjab government has agreed in principle to provide a piece of land to the Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FWCCI) for setting up the first state-of-the-art woman business incubation center and other projects”.
