Faisalabad One Step Close to have its own IT Parks

Mr. Akbar, Senior Manager Infrastructure, Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) Ministry of Information Technology called upon President of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Engr. Ehtisham Javed, during his visit to Faisalabad city to study the Software Industry and available Infrastructure for IT Companies  in Faisalabad City on December 02, 2020.

“PSEB is already operating 14 Software Technology Parks in Islamabad, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi and looking forward to establish 40 IT Parks in 2nd tier cities of Pakistan including Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot etc in next phase”.
PSEB representative, Mr. Akbar told.

Engr. Ehtisham Javed, along with Member Executive Committee, Engr. Babar Shehzad, Former Presidents Engr. Rizwan Ashraf, Mr. Muzammil Sultan and Chairman Pasban IT Group Major (Retd) Shahnawaz Ul Hassan appreciated the interest of Ministry of IT and PSEB in establishment of IT Parks in Faisalabad City, and shared about the efforts of FCCI as platform to support IT Industry and for its long journey to establish the IT Park in Faisalabad in collaboration with Govt bodies. Honorable president FCCI also told PSEB representative about the space dedicated to establish a Techno Park at FCCI Complex which was inaugurated on September 09, 2020 by Mian Muhammad Adrees, Chairman Sitara Group. He also extended full support of Business Community and Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce to MOIT and PSEB for the IT Parks in Faisalabad.

President FCCI acclaimed Engr. Babar Shehzad, Shahid Aslam and Digital Faisalabad team for organizing the visit and meeting, and wished Godspeed for the cause. Mr. Farhan Bari, CEO WebSolUK and Mr. Muhammad Bilal, CEO Connect Ventures & Digital Faisalabad accompanied the PSEB representative for the meeting with FCCI dignitaries.

Establishment of IT Parks will not only create more opportunities for Faisalabad based IT Companies but also help to build better trust in local IT Industry at international level and will lead to more job creation and economical growth.
